Is Botox the best option for my wrinkles?
Not necessarily, there’s no judgement here but there are other options.
This is an actual query from a client considering Botox.
“ I have frown lines on my forehead and wrinkles around my eyes and lips and my jaw line is looking a little softer. I am looking at getting Botox at a cost of $350 every 3 months. I’m unsure what to do. Do you think your tailored customised facials would be better for me!”
So glad you are looking at this option. Thank you for coming to me and for doing your research before you start investing your time and money into your rejuvenating journey.
firstly it’s unlikely you can get all of the areas you mentioned addressed by Botox alone, it is very likely that each area will be treated separately and therefore will cost more than the quoted $350.
I have actually helped clients get off Botox and the main reason was there skin did not look any better, they just had no wrinkles, secondly the rising cost was something they were feeling uncomfortable with and they felt they had no option but to rebook every 3 months, as without it their face just fell. How awful is that?
Every time they got a treatment here at Sole Revival, they were very happy and were able to last much longer than their 3 months for Botox, until gradually they were able to get off it altogether.
With customised facials you are improving your own elasticity, skin tone, pores and collagen production. Your skin becomes stronger with each treatment. Whereas with Botox there is no real improvement, a muscle that is not used is a muscle that dies.
1. Botox is botulism, which is a muscle freezer. That can not be doing your kidneys or liver any good to process that. Not to mention the risks, we have all seen the horror stories, of people being permanently disfigured due to unidentifiable ingredients in the injectables. It’s only now the scientific evidence is emerging and uncovering the real long term damage it does to the nerves and the brain.
2. The cost will keep increasing as more areas need done and then you start to get fillers, and I have to say, eventually people look a bit odd.
