About us
Founder and head therapist Jules has a wealth of experience in offering intense treatments that are non-invasive & deliver results. “On the surface my company does facial and body treatments. But what we really do is an art, honed from many years of research, training and investing in cutting edge technology. “ Creating facial beauty is treating a combination of the sub-dermal skin structures, texture, tone, colour and shape.
Our specialty is in repairing and rejuvenating the natural beauty that exists in every everyone. This unique approach allows you to turn back the clock & erase the the signs of aging. “I am passionate about customer service and enjoy the interaction I have with my clients. It’s also important to keep up to date with technology and treatment protocols, and I’ve gained many loyal clients as they are confident that I am continually updating my skills and keeping up to date with new technologies and products. I do the hard work researching so they don’t have to. “
I originally studied at Glasgow College in 1986, where I got my HNC in Hair & Beauty. Later on I gained a HND in Complementary & alternative medicine, then a BA Hons in Healthcare from Edinburgh Napier University. I’m now based in Perth, Australia and I’ve enjoyed further training and collaboration with some great companies to fine tune my dermal clinician skills.
Many of the clients simply book in a time each month, in that time that’s allocated to them we do the treatment that’s best suited for them. We offer 30, 60 or 90 minute appointments, which can be booked online. 🏠.
I encourage my clients to see me as no different from the maintenance they do on their homes or their cars, we wouldn’t fail to maintain them, and to be regularly servicing and repairing them.
Maintenance is not expensive if it is ongoing, repairing damage and neglect is expensive and time consuming. You are your most valuable asset so make self care a non-negotiable part of your life.
Jules I’Driscoll founder and head therapist owner of Sole Revival Skin & Body Clinic in Winthrop talks about how she got started in the industry, hurdles she’s had to face, being an entrepreneur.
“After moving to Perth, WA, I couldn’t find a job ( Jules graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BA Hons in Complementary Healthcare, specialising in reflexology), so I enrolled in a small business course and created my own job as a mobile therapist.
For the first year, Sole Revival provided therapeutic massage, aromatherapy massage and reflexology as well as pamper party bookings for groups of girls getting together for a catch up and enjoying some well deserved treatments. “ that was my daughters idea, those pamper parties, she was such an amazing supportive person for me.”
“It was good fun and I enjoyed it”. But as Jules success grew within that first year, it became apparent she would be better off renting premises. Which she did, inside a hair salon in Mt Pleasant. One of the most popular treatments asked for was the Accupressure facial, and not because of its health benefits but because it made people look so good. So began Sole Revivals journey into providing customised beauty treatments.
“I started out looking to give my clients the very best treatments available that would improve their skin and help them to look and feel great. I soon discovered I had a passion for it and I loved seeing their reactions when they looked in the mirror, it made my day” she says.
Sole Revival is unique because of Jules technique and background. She offers custom exclusive treatments that are tailor made for the individual. Her products are natural, organic, vegan and cruelty free. She has twice been nominated for the Telstra woman’s business awards and had decided that this year she will enter”
“I love the difference I make, you don’t just clear up their acne, or reduce their scarring or eliminate those wrinkles, you rejuvenate them, you watch them blossom in front of your eyes”.
Sole Revival soon grew out of their space in Mt Pleasant and Jules redesigned her Winthrop house by turning it in to rooms that clients could enjoy visiting, she likes to have them step through door and feel instantly relaxed, she has created a spacious treatment room, a reception area and a chill out zone, where you can relax, have a herbal tea, read a book or have a seat in the massage chair whilst you wait.
Jules say’s “ the business just kept on growing and I kept on adding the latest technology and up-skilling.”
