What is the best treatment for permanent hair reduction?

Permanent Hair Reduction using SHR/IPL, all your questions answered

Q & A.

What is this new SHR?

It stands for Super Hair Removal.

It's the very latest Technology in permanent hair reduction. It's faster, has more power, gives better results and it's pain FREE.

The SHR machine delivers. It goes 950nm deep, it goes deeper than a CO2 Laser Machine.

What makes it so much better than the other machines?

It uses high pulse repetition rates at low energy levels, together with high power. Instead of simply blasting unwanted hair, it heats the hair follicle very gradually. It uses IN- Motion Technology, which is a rolling technique that eliminates the common problem of missed or skipped spots. The new IN- Motion Technology combines concurrent cooling with a gradual thermal rise to the target temperature without any risk of injury or pain.

The SHR heat targets the pigment and melanin located in the hair follicles where the flashes of light disable the targeted hair follicle, causing the unwanted hair to fall out and preventing future growth.

Since hair growth cycles are not synchronised, several treatment sessions are needed to treat the dormant follicles.

A minimum of 6 treatments are recommended.

Spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results.

The main thing is to make sure that:

1. You have stopped all waxing, epilation ect for a period of 4 weeks before your first appointment. That's to ensure we get the hair root as that is what we target to stop it from growing again.

2. Shave the area to be treated prior to your appointment. I recommend you start a couple of days before and shave a few times to make sure your getting all the hairs. It's ok to shave on the day of your treatment but if you have sensitive skin it is best to do it the night before.

*Proper shaving is essential, if there is Hair present that is what will be targeted instead of the root.

3. Don't use any perfumed products, moisturisers or deodorants on the area to be treated.

And lastly if you have a tattoo on the area being treated please cover it up with a plaster or sticky pad.

Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Have a great day
